Tonight

I have never been more proud to be an American. This moment, this wonderfully sublime and perfect moment - we have changed the course of history. We are embarking on a new journey as a people and I can't wait to be a part of it. I am so, so proud to know what we're getting ready to do. Tonight, tonight! We made a change...and I have to believe we WILL be better for it. More to come - but I couldn't be happier. I couldn't ever be more proud than this moment in time.

This one's for you, Floss...

Congratulations are in order and I am proud that you are happy in this, work and home and to know and stick to your ideals...

(Although I was surprised this morning to see the letter you wrote me published here in order to illustrate them)....We are not too far off on our sentiments We differ in the approach to solutions....Obamas ideals go too far for your Constituationist Momma and I could not vote for him......Obama broke a promise to win, campaign financing....and to win he verbally moved to the center -it will be interesting to see what others promises he breaks in the years to come..."by the nature of the beast" I know he will----and the 55 million who voted for McCain voted primarily AGAINST Obama's Share the Wealth...promise everything and take care of everyone campaign!
btw..your sister's health depends on ALL research not so much only to the stemcells that are raised at the price of a life (I am adamently against taking any life, abortion or death penalty or otherwise)- research that will absolutely quit happening because of the LOSS of a profit incentive in a true nationalized health system - Obamas plan does not initiate a system that does that -and that is good, but the stem cells in question are not substanitated as having the answers...for anyone....

Obama will be everyone's president, and we did make history, I am thrilled for the Black/Hispanic mommas who can truly say you can be President .I am thrilled to have Bush out as he has created the great divide ..I am also thrilled the Senate will give some balance which was the point of my last correspondence...
I WILL BE THERE POINTING THE WAY TO NOT GIVING EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE WITHOUT THEIR EFFORTS TO WORK FOR THEM....AND AS A PERSON WHO BELIEVES THE PROMISES 200+ YEARS AGO WERE TO KEEP US SAFE AND KEEP US FREE AND THAT THE GOVERNMENT WILL STAY OUT OF OUR WAY IN THE PROCESS...not to become Socialist country which in the ends destroys those freedoms by taking control of everything in the pursuit of taking care of everyone....we as a country have a history of doing more for the world than any other and to do it with what is still the best economy...I believe we can continue...we are a compassionate people -

I am doing what I said I wouldn't when looking at your site this morning....so enough...

Love you and celebrating your happiness this morning....

PS-I have never experienced the glass ceiling,,,,just for the record...I worked hard and limited myself as needed to have the lifestyle and family time that was important to me...I know because I see the payrolls, never has a man been paid more than me doing the same job.....
